As a veteran who had served for the cause of my country, in World War I, I would certainly be concerned about the impact of events unfolding on the global platform and its affect on the geopolitical relations between nations. As an individual who is well versed with the military aspect of the simmering tension and anxiety, I would be convinced of the inevitability of another world war. However, after having witnessed the destruction and catastrophe of the Great War (WWI) with my own eyes, I would certainly oppose any idea of the beginning of any renewed conflict and more particularly, American participation in the same.
